“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” ~Ephesians 6:10-11 ESV
Do you ever feel like you are coming completely undone? Life has a way of throwing lots of ominous fears our way.
What’s a girl to do when she’s:
Anxious in the morning… Anxious in the middle of the day… Anxious in the middle of the night…
Courage, Dear-Heart!
Jesus, your courage-giver is near…
“And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” ~Colossians 1:17 ESV
Ask Him, He will speak peace over your fragmented, anxious soul.
Jesus, our courage-giver wants to, literally: HOLD US TOGETHER…
Especially when our life-circumstances make us feel like we are falling completely apart!
Courage, Dear-Heart!
“I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child is my soul within me.” ~Psalm 131:2 ESV
Anxiety, sometimes, screams loudly just before panic sets in.
Other times, anxiety speaks more subtly – in soft, dark, lying whispers:
“Your life will never be better than this!” “You will fail!” “Give up, now!” “No one likes you!” “Everyone is against you!” “You’ll never fit in!” “You will die – alone!” “Your marriage is doomed!” “You will lose everything!” “Your middle name is Failure!” “Where is your God, now?” “This is all your fault!” “You are ugly!” “You are fat!” “You have no talent!” “You don’t deserve good things!”
While anxiety talks incessantly, Jesus invites us into His serene, peaceful love. But, recognizing the voice of our enemy is important, if we are to stand firm against his deceitful schemes, if we are to ever realize our need to listen to the real voice of truth.
Do you hear Him? If you don’t know how to recognize the voice of Jesus, talk with Him – often. Soon, you will recognize His voice in the same way you recognize a familiar friends voice.
Quiet yourself, Dear-Heart!
Look up and away from your inward struggle…
Seek Jesus, the Courage-giver
Embrace His LOVE
Practice recognizing His gentle voice – above the noise of your enemy’s dark voice.
Courage, Dear-Heart!
Look up to your Courage-giver, Jesus, the One who holds the keys to our internal prisons.
I’m praying we will see the bigger picture. You didn’t know there was a bigger picture?
Oh, yes, Dear-Heart!
God has already begun painting across the canvas of your life and He won’t waste a thing!
Remember: For every lie Satan tells you, and every anxious thought trying to drown you, the courage-giver, Jesus, has a powerful word of TRUTH for you!
How we need HIS truth to live courageously, my darlings!
His truth will:
Lift Rescue Redeem Restore Heal Help Instruct Direct Teach Bless Encourage
There is nothing too big, too fearful, or too overwhelming for your courage-giver, Jesus, the Son of God.
I pray you find Courage for each and every day.
“The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God.” ~Psalm 14:2 ESV
If you don’t understand, it’s ok…
Look up to Him as He looks down from heaven on you, in love. He will help you understand it all…
Courage, Dear-Heart!
